Stupid iPhone, I just wrote this and it’s gone.

After 11 years in the Seattle area I have finally purchased a pair of real rain boots. It’s weird, in Seattle 90% of the people don’t wear proper rain gear. Maybe they think they will look silly. We’ve been having some nasty weather and I decided it was high time to get a pair. I also got this ridiculously huge umbrella, so now I look like Christopher Robin (or was it Paddington Bear?).

The mile for the bus every day was taking it’s toll on my nicer shoes, so now I have these stylish puppies:
